Here is the assignment:
And he said, Take now your son, your yachiyd Yitschaq, whom you love, and get you into the land of Moriyah; and offer him there as an ascending smoke offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell you of. BERE'SHIYTH (GENESIS) 22:2 את CEPHER
Here is the confidence:
And Avraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. BERE'SHIYTH (GENESIS) 22:5 את CEPHER
NOTE: Avraham was so confident in Yah’s promise that he realized sacrificing his son would not stop the promise from being fulfilled through that same son.
The writer of Hebrews notes this:
Accounting that Elohiym was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. IVRIYM (HEBREWS) 11:19 את CEPHER
But it turns out Avraham was not just confident Yah would raise Yitz’chak from the dead, but from the ashes (remember: Yitz’chak was to be presented as an ascending offering; to be burned completely).
Seeing how Man was formed from the dust of the earth in the first place, doing it again is no big deal.
Family, if Yah promised it, He will do it. We can’t stop him.
How is it gonna work out?
It will!
Be well! Pursue greatness!
